Juliana was born in Brasilia, Brazil. She holds a first class bachelor’s degree in Geophysics at the University of Brasilia. She graduated in Geodynamics and Geophysics in 2016 at Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. She is now a Marie Skłodowska-Curie research fellow with the TREASURE project. Her research host is the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) in Rome and she is a PhD student of Engineering of Complex Systems at University of Salento. Her current research focusses on the improvement of an ionospheric model for the regional short-term forecasting of the Total Electron Content (TEC) and scintillation indices.
