Karl graduated with an engineering degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, where he studied engineering physics and electrophysics. Karl’s academic interests include geophysics, space weather and space technology, and for his MSc thesis, he studied pulsating aurora at the University Centre in Svalbard. He is now an early stage researcher at the Centre for Space, Atmospheric and Oceanic Science at the University of Bath where his research focuses on ionospheric wave disturbances.
